KWERNER CHALLENGE #47

Hi Ya All!!!

Gee hasn't the week gone fast!!!! I really enjoyed the colours this week- I think even more than normal because my order arrived yesterday with all the new SU in colours and this week I got to play with one of them woohoo....

The colours are so happy and bright which made me decide to use SU Crazy for Christmas stamp set ( retiring in 4 days ) .

Tried to make the card sort of look like a present -by the way i layered the ribbon and paper.

I paper tolled out the presents with different coordinating cardstock and Dsp paper.

I used the colours Mellow Moss and Creamy Carmel with cream and the stamp set is Boho backgrounds.

RASPBERRY SUITE COLOR CHALLENGE 1

I was so excited to see that Dawn from MY FAVORITE THINGS blog was hosting her own colour challenge!!! woo hoo,

So I have made some time this morning to play along!! Hopefully I will also get to do the Mojo Monday and Keesh's challenge as well fingers crossed LOL

I love Dawn's blog and who could resist her cards with her beautiful bow tying and elegant designs.

I used my all time favourite SU background stamp which is retiring soon and SU Wild about you.

I also used a piece of felt for the elephants ear just to give a little bit of dimension,

Better get back to my stamping time is of the essence today LOL

KWERNER CHALLENGE #46

Hi everyone it feels like I haven't stamped in awhile.....................Oops it has been awhile, I have been busy making a huge banner for Sunday School and I am over cutting out felt!!! I must say I was a bit hesitant cutting out these flowers but enjoyed getting back in the swing of stamping again.

I have used the stamps SU Eastern blooms and an old retired SU set Big Blooms.

I used Ruby Red instead of Riding Hood Red - because mine hasn't arrived yet :(

KWERNER CHALLENGE #45

Wow!!! I so love making Monochromatic cards- so much so that I just made a card last week using these exact colours! Fancy that!

Anyway here is my card and I have really enjoyed stamping this little guy!! I just cant stop making cute cards at the moment! hehe

INKSPIRATIONS COLOUR CHALLENGE #5 TAKE TWO

Hi Again!! Here is the other card that I made for keesh's challenge!!

It was good making a card that wasn't cute for a change! And who doesn't love red poppies?

I really do love this SU level one hostess set.

I really got into the distressing and sponging technique on this card to give it an aged look not that the photo really gives it justice, and I couldn't help but use some coordinating DSP paper for the background.

INKSPIRATIONS COLOUR CHALLENGE #5

Good Afternoon I had a few spare hours so I thought that I would do Keesh's colour challenge for this week!! I had so much fun using these colours that I manage to make two cards-I will up load my other creation after I have made tea and cleaned up all my mess! How long does it take you to clean up your mess?

I will be sorry to see my favourite in colour Soft Sky go its such a beautiful colour to work with!

Again I have used SU Fishy Friends which is retiring soon - I paper tolled different parts of the fish adding Dazzling Diamonds to bling him up a bit!

And I also wanted to mention that I didn't add any DSP paper to this image it was all stamped so hopefully Tracey notices hehe.

MOJO MONDAY SKETCH # 76

Hello all!! I am just laughing at myself my husband is giving me a hard time because I have finally finished my entry for Mojo Monday and its like Friday today !! hehe

I have used the colours Certainly Celery, Going Grey and Pretty in Pink- I haven't tried this colour combo before but wouldn't it be sweet for a baby's card.

KWERNER CHALLENGE #44 Number 2

Hi again I really wanted to give this challenge another go!

I have stamped the big flower from SU Friendly Flowers (retired) on vellum and then layered the flower using the other stamps in the set.

To add a bit of dimension I put some light pink and white beads on wire and added it on in the centre of the flower-it was very hard to take a decent photo!

Back to entertaining my cherubs on a lovely rainy day!

KWERNER CHALLENGE #44

How cool is this Inspirational photo!!! I have so many ideas going around in my head and thought that i would quickly make a card tonight and maybe one tomorrow :)

My oldest son turned 7 today so I have been busy with family and making cakes etc..........time is going way to fast:(

Anyway back to the card- I have wanted to play with this SU stamp set for awhile and have been so excited to finally be able to ink it up....................I know that these colours are not what you would usually use but I just couldn't help myself. I used Dazzling Diamonds on the pink chicken and on the centres of the flower background stamp...also paper tolling out the chicken and egg!!

INKSPIRATIONS SKETCH CHALLENGE #5

Good afternoon!! I have been sick with the flu/chest infection for a couple of days still not 100% but feeling a lot better today.

I found Keesh's sketch hard to do this week not sure if it was the colours I chose -or the stamp set but it took me ages and I still don't really like the card!

Oh well I have wrapped it up and called it done for today!!
