INKSPIRATIONS SKETCH CHALLENGE #11

Well what a week I have had!!! My middle son has been a very sick boy with severe vomiting, and got very dehydrated, so much so that if we didn't get fluids into him by a certain time he had a admission from the doctor to take him to the hospital!! Thank goodness we finally got it under control.
Let me tell you I am sooooo over cleaning up vomit, and to top it off I feel like I am coming down with it too :(
I had left doing this card till the very last moment and I must admit it has taken me a long time to make it, and am still not sure whether I like it or not!!
Anyhow I am now in love with this gorgeous DSP paper" Raspberry Tart" it coordinates beautifully with Kiwi Kiss, Cameo Coral, and Rose Red!
Stamp set used "Live Like You Mean It" ( hostess level 1) and "Best Yet".
I really Love these new corduroy buttons it just finishes one's work off beautifully.
I am really looking forward to seeing what the other girls have come up with, click below to check out the action!
Have a fantastic night! I am off to a hot shower:)
Take care'

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 2

Good evening!
This gorgeous box has been saved in my favourites file for such a long time and it has been a real pleasure to actually start making these projects.
I really hate casing cards/projects so I have used this template as my base and then decorated and changed a few aspects of the original just to make it my own. :)
I have used Sweet Slumber Specialty DSP for the box and cards, the box fits up to six 3 by 3 cards inside, envelopes included.
I love these new Filigree Designer Brads, I used these to fasten the box as shown in the picture.
For the sides I used my 1-1/4 punch ( Riding Hood Red) folded in half and fastened with some brads from the Styled Silver Hodge Podge Hardware.
Stamp set used Circle Circus punched out with the scallop punch.
I have taken lots of photos so that you get the idea but its such a versatile box that you can decorate it anyway you want, to make it your own.
So click here for the template and I would love to hear from you if you like this project and would like to see more.
Have a great night

INKSPIRATIONS INSPIRATION CHALLENGE #10

Sheesh Keesh !! This was a challenge all right!! LOL
Well a big thanks to my friend Megan who I borrowed this cool SU " Voila" Stamp Set from I am sooo over my stamps and I need some new ones!! hint hint Sean hehehe
I have been eyeing this stamp set up for awhile, and yes after playing with him he has shot up to the top of my wish list!!When I first looked at this Inkspirations photo I thought Masculine, I have decided that I am not a Taken with Teal type of girl and I think thats why I struggled with this challenge.
The DSP paper is from the new mini called "Walk in the Park" I thought it tied in well with the Inkspirational photo!!
I paper tolled/pieced bits of DSP and Card stock onto the stamped image to coordinate all the colours together!!
And check out that beautiful Corduroy Button!! Also in the new mini,
Check out the other design team below and also our guest designer Nancy who is one talented stamper........
Looking forward to seeing your creations this week', and if you would like to participate in this challenge click here.....
Have a great night,

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 1

Well I am excited to bring to you "Me & Mi Monday's.'' Every Monday I will be show casing a new project that I have either randomly discovered while blog surfing, or odd bits and pieces that are around the house or in shops that can be decorated!!
I have been pondering about doing this for awhile and I took a good hard look at my blog and noticed that I have been only updating when participating in challenges etc which I totally love but can be a bit boring for the blog reader.
Anyhow lets get to my very first project!
I found these adorable craft paint pails at" The Warehouse" and knew that with a little TLC they would scrub up a treat!
You can decorate them in so many ways and fill them with so many different goodies I just couldn't wait to get my hands on them. I have also made a cute little 3by3 card to go with the pail.
I have filled them up with RJ's Raspberry Natural Licorice which coordinates beautifully with Riding Hood Red hehehe.
This is a simple first project but I think that its nice to have a gift on hand that you can whip up quickly, the longest part was taking the sticker off!
Well I hope that you will come and visit again any questions feel free to e-mail!!
Take care,
Amy

Boy oh boy !!! Where has the week gone? I am enjoying every bit of the school holidays so much so that I almost ran out of time for the challenge tonight!!!
That's the beauty about sketch's in no time one can whip up a card in minutes and this was the case tonight.
I love this gorgeous pear paper and no matter how many times I flipped past it somehow I just really wanted to use it...so I based the colours and stamp set around this!
Sorry this is a short post, if you have any questions about the card drop me an e-mail!!!
I am off to Tracey's for a relaxing night!!!

MOJO MONDAY SKETCH #93

Howdy folks!
Today is a beautiful cold rainy day, and what better day to pull out my favourite stamp set SU "Fifth Avenue" and spend the afternoon with her. hehehe
Like I have said before I am really into paper flowers and couldn't resist to make another one for this Mojo Monday sketch.
I must say I have never ever put grey and brown together but got the Inspiration from the wool that I am using to knit my son's hat!! Hehe
I kind of deviated away from the sketch a little but she is one huge rose to stick on so I had to compromise a bit.
Anyhow I hope you are all having a lovely day,
Take care,
Amy

INKSPIRATIONS INSPIRATION CHALLENGE #9

Hey There!
Can you believe that another week has gone!
Thank goodness for Makeesha's challenges at the moment, I am not sure if I would get any stamping done.
Well after good amount of thinking........pondering I finally got this card finished.
This was such a fun challenge to do, if you would like to participate click here and it will take you to the lovely Makeesha's blog.
The piece of artwork in the Inkspirational photo really appealed to me, so I tried to imitate the image on my card, I cut a piece of water colour paper and just randomly coloured the background with my paintbrush and ink pads.  I also loved the little black tea pot in the back ground so I used black as an accent to bring it all together.
The stamp set used is SU "Garden Whimsy", I paper tolled out the butterfly and flower to give a bit of dimension to the card.
Make sure you take the time to check out the other design team members......
Nighty Night
