ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 7

Sorry about last night I just wasn't up to posting, I have three projects that I have made for Father's day that my boys are each going to give.
I decided instead of posting them all together that I would do them over three nights :)
Tonight is a sweet little milk carton which you can find the tutorial here,
I have used the stamp set "All in the Family" which has cute little rugby/soccer balls and cricket set.
I tried to make the little boy represent my little Noah as this is the gift that he is going to give dad.
The DSP is Windsor Knot which coordinates beautifully with Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Old Olive.
I haven't yet adhered the bottom because I want to fill up the carton with milk bottle lollies :)
Have a great night I have some girlfriends coming around,
Amy

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 6

Well if you are a stationary freak you are going to love this project! hehe
I brought this cute little note pad to decorate at Warehouse Stationary and this delightful plastic container filled with cello tape/stapler/scissors etc that are a perfect match to Rose Red.
I covered the pad with Raspberry Tart DSP, then layered the image using the stamps "Gallery", "Circle Circus" the scallop circle punch a Rose Red felt flower and then made a brad from the 'Build a Brad' using a piece of  coordinating DSP.
To add the final touch I wrapped some Kiwi Kiss ribbon around the pad.
I then made a band for my other little project using the same stamps and colours but used Rose Red ribbon.
Warehouse Stationary also sell cute little micro pens so I brought one in green and tied some ribbon around that also.
I hope you feel inspired to go make you own little gift like this...............I am going to give this to my sister in law who is long over due for a birthday gift.
Have a great night and thanks for looking,
Amy

INKSPIRATIONS SKETCH CHALLENGE #12

Good evening!
This was a fun sketch to do today from the lovely keesh..... and to get me into the mood I used this stamp set "Holiday Lineup", I have been wanting to play with this stamp for such a long time.
I used some of my favourite DSP from "Sweet Slumber Specialty" and inked up the sweetest little snow flake stamp that belongs to the set "Short & Sweet".
I inked and distressed the edges to give it a rustic look.
The oval is cut from my nestibilities and I added a little Dazzling Diamonds to the stamped image just to jazz it up a little.
If you get a chance take a look at the other amazing Design Team sketches.......

MOJO MONDAY SKETCH #100 Day Two

Hi back again!!
Ummm........ don't tell Sean that I hid in my Stamping room again this afternoon while he was hard at work!!
I bribed the kids with treats and special stuff that I keep in a box that we call our "Treasure box" for when their handwriting is exceptional...... good behaviour..... and well when I am desperate for a hour!!!
Luckily this card only took 30mins not that I was watching the clock!!
Damn it my little punk can keep and read the time. hehehe
Anyway when you are working with beautiful paper you can whip up a card in no time.
I paper tolled the flower a few times, water colouring the stamped image with Bashful Blue/Sage Shadow to make Baja Breeze! with the watercolor crayons.
So if you get a chance go check out the Mojo Monday Blog and have a go at this sketch!
Best get back to my neglected children. hehe

Cick here to take you to the tutorial on how to make this.
The second project is a cute Tic Tac holder using the same colours and DSP, it is so adorable and would be a cute hostess gift or party favor!

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 4

Good evening all!!!
I know two posts in one day I can hardly believe it myself!!
Well tonight I bring you this beautiful Mini Pocket book, which I must say took only a hour to make!! It was all the little details that take the time. hehe
If you were looking for a project that uses lots of the new brads from the new mini well look no further.
I have used my two favourite DSP papers "Parisian Breeze Specialty" and "Sweet Slumber Specialty" which coordinate with Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze.
You could decorate this book as much or as little as you want too.
Well I guess I better go clean up all my stamping mess! Click here to take you to the link to make one yourself!!
Take care and thanks for visiting,
Amy

RASPBERRY SUITE COLOR CHALLENGE 14

I absolutely adore Dawn's blog, and participate in her challenges when time permits, which was the case today!!. I really loved working with these colours, especially using Bravo Burgundy, which when I first started buying Stampin Up products it was one of the very first colours that I brought. I haven't used this colour in such a long time!!!
I was able to make two cards which hasn't happened for awhile, My boy's are learning about the Pilgrims who travelled on the ship "Mayflower" and this afternoon they were decorating their Native American paintings while eating their Thanksgiving feast!! If you see any glitter or food on the cards you will know why!! hehe
Well I best get back to cleaning up and finishing the little bits on my project to show you tonight!!
Thanks for looking,
Amy

INKSPIRATIONS COLOUR CHALLENGE #11

Hello sorry about the delay click on Keesha's blog here to read why!
Ok I know that these colours are what you would often use for a boy's card and yes I badly wanted to make a boy's card with buttons and coordinating ribbon etc, but as soon as I grabbed the stamps I thought well that would be a typical Amy card and so I challenged myself to a.....No boy's card with No buttons and well I just couldn't keep to the No ribbon part.
I have been dying to ink up my new stamp set "Petal Pizzazz" and what a treat she is.
In the centre of the middle flower I have used a filigree brad adhered with a Pumpkin Rhinestone Brad just to pizzazz it up some more.
I actually used two different DSP papers for the background, two that I normally wouldn't put together, but it kind of worked, both are from the 'Washington Apple' series.
Don't forget to check out the other design team's entries below..............
Have a great weekend'
