Sage Shadow would have to be one of my favourite colours at the moment and in the DSP range Wintergreen and Springfling it has coordinating snowflake and circle paper cool aye.

'TIS THE SEASON'

YEAH!!!! Time to get out my xmas stamps, Thought that i would take a photo of my first xmas card.
I so love this stamp set SEASON OF JOY i knew as soon as i had laid my eyes on it that it would be a winner!!!
It so hard taking good photos at night time but the white bottom half of the card is all sparkly with glitter, by mixing half Dazzling Diamonds and half clear embossing powder together then heat setting it once you have versamarked the area you want it looks a real treat.
Mellow moss and white go really nice together and i am loving the Gingham moss ribbon, I really love how all of the Stampin' up colours all coordinate it so takes the hassle of trying to match everything.
In the photo the little flowers are paper tolled out they look a different colour but it is just my camera and in the middle of each flower i added a small halfback pearl ( from the pretties kit ) and i also added a little Rhinestone brad ( ICE, the green ) in the centre of the word Joy.
This stamp set is in the Spring mini catalogue if you would like a look send me a e-mail,
Have a great night.

PAPER BAG BOOK

I really enjoyed making this book! I had a friend come around last night to do a bit of stamping, and i have been admiring paper bag books on different blogspots for awhile, but do you think that i could work out the instructions (lol) So i threw caution to the wind and designed one, and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
I have made Five dividers using textured card stock, by cutting the ends off the paper bags and adhering them to the back of the dividers they turn into pockets.
I then scrap booked and embellished five pages to fit into these paper bag pockets, that you can pull out using the tabs.
Using eyelets and coordinating ribbons this holds the book pages together, don't you just love Purely Pomegranate and River Rock and of course the satin ribbon.
Enjoy your day. ( p.s Fee if you are reading this i have just come back from the post office i hope you like this! it will be in your hot little hands in Aussie in 4 days )

MORE THAN JUST A BOX

This is a cool idea to store those little things that have no home, or you can fill the little boxe's inside with lollies and give as a cool present.
My good friend Tracey taught a group of us how to make this, she is one talented friend i always love seeing what she comes up with next. If you haven't been to her blog yet click HERE
Well the DSP paper wasn't hard to choose (winter green LOL) and i just coordinated the matching colours to go with it.
Of course i needed ribbon on it somewhere (lol) Districts Shadow sage and certainly Celery did it for me, and the latest silver Hodge podge ribbon buckle finished it off like a treat.

ENVELOPE BABY CARD

I know i am at it again but this will be a very quick post.
Good friends of ours have just recently had a baby girl (number 6) so i stayed up tonight and made a baby card, before it got given away i thought i would put it on my blog.
I have made a few envelope cards before they are nice and quick and look effective.
Pink and Grey are my favourite Girl colours so there was no doubt in my mind in what colours to choose.
I put a Kaiser jewel on the flower just to bling it up a bit and of course lots of ribbon topped off with DSP Spring Fling (dont you just love polka dots).
Best get to bed.

BOX AS A PURSE

Well why not blog again! I have decided that since it is my first week of having a blog i would update it daily (lol) ok so maybe i am a little bit obsessed at the moment but it sure is lots of fun.
This little box purse is so cute, it has a lid that holds 3x3 little cards inside, it was so easy to make. If you click HERE it will take you to the instructions and template.
I chose the colour River Rock as my starting point, i just love the DSP Brocade background paper, and by just keeping it simple i enhanced it with using black and white.
You cant really see in the photo but the box has been stamped all over with River Rock ink, and the Spring Solitude flower stamp.
Also on the little cards i added Dazzling Diamonds to the middle of the stamped flowers, paper tolled out the bird and branch, also adding Crystal effects on the birds wing, i also had lots of fun using my cutter kit to distress the edges of the stamped image.
oh and by the way i just made the handle using a strip of cardstock and adhered it to the box using black brads on each side.

THE ULTIMATE CARDSTOCK STORAGE

Ok, who has problems storing cardstock, it ends up either having rabbit ears on the corners,or it gets bent or faded, or even forgotten about under piles of other stamping stuff lying around.
I happened to mention the lack of storage solutions around to my dad one night, who is affectionately known as thee master craftsman!!!!!
All of a sudden his brain started working overtime grunting words like all good tradesman often do "yes, easy, i can make that all i have to do is this, how much paper etc etc getting all excited myself.' I was a bit hesitant to inform him that there are 62 SU colours of cardstock.
Well blow me down after two weeks or so i had this awesome designer unit. Thanks dad i LOVE your work!!!!!.
If this looks like something you would be interested in having in your own craft room drop me an e-mail and i can send you more details and a price list on different models.

CUTE LITTLE DOUBLE POCKET PURSE

Well i know that i am getting a little bit excited but i thought i might just go onto my blog and edit a few details, and i couldn't believe that 54 people had visited from all over the world, (wow) just in 2 hours of having my blog up and running, so back into my stamping room i went looking for my next project to photograph.
Alot of my artwork has been sitting on my shelf in expectation of the day they might get looked at, apart from my mum (who is undoubtably my number one fan) and close friends. My stamping room leads a very quiet life.

I made this little purse a little while back with matching 3x3 cards that fit inside the purse, the purse has two pockets that sit envelopes in one pocket and the cards in the other.
I really do love the DSP wintergreen, i promise that i will show you more projects that aren't these colour combos (ha,ha)
OHH! by the way we just had our monthly demonstrator meeting and i picked these colours for our challenge, so i will take a photo of what i made (ha, ha).
Have a look at what my good friend Tracey made with these colours on her blog.
