INKSPIRATIONS SKETCH CHALLENGE #8

Hello..................I hope you all get a chance to try doing this sketch it was soooo much fun!!!
Actually I must confess I really do enjoy sketch challenges for some reason the card comes together a lot quicker!!
I really layered the card tonight using lots of coordinating DSP Paper "Sweet Slumber Specialty".......Adding some lovely embellishments, some yummy new So Saffron striped grosgrain ribbon and designer buttons (Latte, Bouquet)
This stamp set SU Animal Crackers is so sweet and fits nicely in the 1-3/8 punch, I paper tolled out the image to give it added dimension,
Make sure you go and check out the other Design team entries...

Enjoy,
Amy

KWERNER CHALLENGE #53

Hi everyone!! I was feeling unwell this morning and after a few strong drugs( thank goodness for medicine ) I am feeling a lot better so much so that I had time to whip up this card!! These colours are so bright and cheerful I thought that this would be a great challenge to do.
I used the colours Pacific Point, Real Red, Summer Sun, white and black.
I used the SU stamp set Trendy Trees, coordinating the DSP paper from the pack Good Morning Sunshine.
I haven't used my scallop edge punch much recently thought it was time that it saw the light of day LOL

INKSPIRATIONS INSPIRATION CHALLENGE #7

Good evening folks ......I hope that you all have had a really great week  I know that I have. Have I ever mentioned that  I love the cold!!!! We have snow on the mountain and its been sooooo cold and I LOVE IT!!! I wish that it actually would snow in my backyard but living so close to the beach I am not sure if it will.
The challenge this week was so much fun I really enjoyed working with these colours and Inspirational photo :).
Now I know that the bedspread is more of a pinky red colour (rose red)  but... I am in love with Riding Hood Red at the moment and had to use it.
The other colours that I brought into the card were Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette and Certainly Celery.
Stamps sets used were level one hostess stamp set " Live Like You Mean It" the little butterfly was out of the set "Garden Whimsy".
I paper tolled out the butterfly making the wings look real and sewed some coordinating Designer Buttons (bouquet) as part of the flowers,
Well that's about it I am out tonight at a pot luck tea, looking forward to seeing every ones challenge cards this week :)

INKSPIRATIONS COLOUR CHALLENGE #7

Good Evening and it's that time of the week again!!! I really can't believe how quick this week has already gone.
This was a very exciting week for me as my husband and I have decided to home school our three children. So I had a lot to do to get organized and that included unpacking 29kg worth of books from America. The week has been a blast and I think the children even enjoyed themselves, LOL.  Anyway on with the challenge.
The Colours  this week really tied in with a retired DSP paper called OUTLAW that has been collecting dust in my house since the new catty :) actually the whole range of papers is perfect for this challenge and it was hard deciding which paper to use, so I decided to paper tole out the girls dresses in a few of the different papers.
I am loving this new Chocolate Chip Designer Button from the latte packet, tied with the new Chocolate Chip 1/4 grosgrain ribbon.
This SU, 'All in the Family' stamp set has the most gorgeous accessories to go with it, I have the new 'Family Accessories Too' stamps on my wish list. And don't forget to check out the other amazing design team member entries by going to Makeesha's blog
here and give this challenge a go yourself..........
Have a great night,

I must say that this is a real honour and I just love Makeesha's blog and challenges.
The really neat thing about being on the design team is that I will make the time ( now I will have an excuse to be to busy for making tea etc ) every Friday to do the challenges hehe, not sure if Sean knows what he has got himself in for lol.
Well here is the first sketch for the Design team, I am madly in love with the new Dsp paper Sweet Slumber Specialty it wasn't hard to get the inspiration for my card playing with this :)
I layered the stamped images with coordinating stamp pads and Stampin Dimensionals and finished the card of with some scrumptious ribbon and button,

RASPBERRY SUITE COLOR CHALLENGE 4

Hi everyone!! Thought that i would give this Raspberry suite challenge a go, Love love love these colours.........................I used Stampin Ups Chocolate Chip and Baja breeze which coordinate beautifully.
I think I have already mentioned that Fifth Avenue is my favourite set at the moment, and I have paper tolled the rose out with five layers not that the photo really does the card much justice but it looks really good it makes the rose look so real by adding lots of dimension.
If you have a moment go check out the other entries by clicking here.....
Have a good one,
Amy

SO STRAWBERRY SWEET..............

Good afternoon I have been meaning to post these cute little projects and template link.........
The first project is a decorated giant paper clip that I had to teach to a group of wonderful fellow stamping friends using the SU Tart & tangy set (so glad it made the latest catalogue).
It makes for a wonderful bookmark in recipe books or you could even put a magnet at the back of the scallop and use it to hang whatever on your fridge.
We also made these cute strawberry's that fit little lollies inside they are so adorable!!! I thought I might make a whole lot of them and put them in a decorated bucket for mothers day super sweet!!! If you would like the strawberry template click here...........
Enjoy,
Amy
