INKSPIRATIONS COLOUR CHALLENGE #12

Good evening!
It was lovely to take a break last week from  Makeesha's challenge, but boy I was ready to get back into this week!
I have used the stamp set "Boatloads of love" because this colour combo screamed fun! hehe
I used some small retired Real Red buttons that I had collecting dust, the DSP is from the packs "Windsor Knot" and "Walk in the Park".
I paper pieced different DSP on the boat which can be a little different than colouring, plus I sometimes reckon its a lot faster.
My husband got given some rugby tickets to go see a game tonight with a friend so I have some girls coming around tonight!! whoop whoop bring on the weekend.
Go check out Makeesha's blog here and meet our new design team member's and share some comment love, and here is the design team entries as follows.
Have a good one,
Amy

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 7 (part two)

umm I put the strap around the wrong way !!! oppps
This is a photo of the back just so you can see how I adhered the strap.

Howdy again :)
Well today I bring you this cute little wallet, that I personally think is tooo cute. My second son Lachlan is going to give this wallet for fathers day which will have a gift card inside.
I tied in the colours with my little milk carton (see previous post) and also I love the Windsor Knot DSP paper which is fantastic for boys or masculine projects,
To make this cute little wallet click here and it will take you to a great Tutorial.
To hold the brad close, I used a magnet fastener, I hope this gives you some inspiration and inspire you to go and make your own. If you do end up making one leave me a comment because I would love to see it :)
The day here has been absolutely superb and a fantastic day for washing which reminds me I better go bring in.
See you tomorrow,
Amy

RASPBERRY SUITE COLOR CHALLENGE 16

Hi All!!
I have had a wee break from stamping and have been unwell, actually all weekend with headaches and sore throat, It was a great weekend however with lots of early nights :)
My husband had to work on his sermon for sunday and at the moment we have no office so I couldn't even watch t.v so to bed it was for me.
I love Dawn's Blog and couldn't resist her colour challenge this week!
I have inked up again "Bloomin with Beauty" and stamped the image on water paper.
I have paper tolled the flower adding Dazzling Diamonds and also on the bee's wings.
I am totally in love with this stamp set at the moment not that you would know, hehe
Anyway I must get back to my final touches on the Me&Mi Monday project which I will post later tonight,
Go treat yourself to some eye candy on Dawn's blog by clicking here,
Take care

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 7

Sorry about last night I just wasn't up to posting, I have three projects that I have made for Father's day that my boys are each going to give.
I decided instead of posting them all together that I would do them over three nights :)
Tonight is a sweet little milk carton which you can find the tutorial here,
I have used the stamp set "All in the Family" which has cute little rugby/soccer balls and cricket set.
I tried to make the little boy represent my little Noah as this is the gift that he is going to give dad.
The DSP is Windsor Knot which coordinates beautifully with Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Old Olive.
I haven't yet adhered the bottom because I want to fill up the carton with milk bottle lollies :)
Have a great night I have some girlfriends coming around,
Amy

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 6

Well if you are a stationary freak you are going to love this project! hehe
I brought this cute little note pad to decorate at Warehouse Stationary and this delightful plastic container filled with cello tape/stapler/scissors etc that are a perfect match to Rose Red.
I covered the pad with Raspberry Tart DSP, then layered the image using the stamps "Gallery", "Circle Circus" the scallop circle punch a Rose Red felt flower and then made a brad from the 'Build a Brad' using a piece of  coordinating DSP.
To add the final touch I wrapped some Kiwi Kiss ribbon around the pad.
I then made a band for my other little project using the same stamps and colours but used Rose Red ribbon.
Warehouse Stationary also sell cute little micro pens so I brought one in green and tied some ribbon around that also.
I hope you feel inspired to go make you own little gift like this...............I am going to give this to my sister in law who is long over due for a birthday gift.
Have a great night and thanks for looking,
Amy

INKSPIRATIONS SKETCH CHALLENGE #12

Good evening!
This was a fun sketch to do today from the lovely keesh..... and to get me into the mood I used this stamp set "Holiday Lineup", I have been wanting to play with this stamp for such a long time.
I used some of my favourite DSP from "Sweet Slumber Specialty" and inked up the sweetest little snow flake stamp that belongs to the set "Short & Sweet".
I inked and distressed the edges to give it a rustic look.
The oval is cut from my nestibilities and I added a little Dazzling Diamonds to the stamped image just to jazz it up a little.
If you get a chance take a look at the other amazing Design Team sketches.......

Have a fantastic weekend
