COLOURQ 88

This week at JUST ADD INK the challenge is..............Just add fussy cutting, this card definitely comes under that category. ( the flowers were a pain to cut )Also at colour Q they have a fantastic colour combo!!click here to take you to the blog.

I used the stamp set Vintage Vogue and cut out the flowers and sewed the centres to the card for a bit of fancy hehe.
Sorry this is going to be a short post...I am glued to American Idol.

BLOSSOM

Its raining and cold here.....for some reason I love these days, especially when the fires on, I have a hot chocolate on the table and well some new stamping goodies to play with.... I couldn't be happier, and also no kids soooo some time to play too.

I stamped on the larger petals using the stamp set "Bliss" .....the colour combo I used "Wild Wasabi, Regal Rose and Blushing Bride"with coordinating DSP papers.

TRY STAMPIN IT TUESDAY SKETCH #16

Well I was asked by CherylAnn this week to be a guest designer at ' Try Stampin It Tuesday' I had lots of fun playing around with this sketch.

I have totally fallen in love with this stamp set "Nature Walk" you can do so much with it, And the images are quite striking just stamped without needing to much colouring etc.

We have had a bit of work done around our property which has made lots of mud and my boys have been playing in it daily!!! I am about to pull m hair out with the daily cleaning washing of clothes and scrubbing dirty little knees.

Anyway I better get back to hanging out MORE washing!

SWEET SUNDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE 118

Hi back again, I couldnt resist doing this sketch tonight and it was super easy to whip up!! I used some clear tiny buttons for the eyes on this owl just to dress it up a bit.

I really love this new DSP paper Sweet stitches so cute.

I am supposed to be watching a movie with hubby tonight so this will be a short and sweet post.

TRY STAMPIN IT TUESDAY SKETCH #15/ JUST ADD INK

Boy oh boy did I have alot of fun making this Double twisted easel card tonight....".Just add ink" have a beautiful colour combo to work with and at" Try Stampin it Tuesday" have a fabulous sketch that worked so well with this easel card.

I paper tolled out the butterfly and bee adding Dazzling Diamonds, my friend Andrea inspired me to dust off the dust on my jar!!

Howdy folks........Well did I have fun stamping tonight, playing with my new DSP paper and stamp set "Button,Button" It was sooooo much fun I love this stamp set it was so easy to use.

JUST ADD INK /TRY STAMPIN IT TUESDAY SKETCH #13

Hello again.......I know i know two cards in two days is a miracle to say the least. I love the latest "Just add ink" challenge to put a flower on your card...click here to take you to their challenge.

And I thought I better get in early for "Try Stampin It Tuesday's" sketch.

I pain (and will say painstakingly) paper pieced all the leaves and flowers on this card it took awhile but well worth the result.

Anyway better get back to the boys spelling....I couldn't get a good photo so had to wait till this morning.

TRY STAMPIN IT TUESDAY SKETCH #12

Sheesh!!! I think I might have just made this card in the nick of time before this weeks challenge expires.

I turned this sketch around and made a little pocket for my tag and used buttons instead of flowers on the sketch, I wanted to have a bit of fun with this DSP paper, it can be quite busy to use but I love the colour combo.

I hope everybody had a great holiday! Its been really nice to get back into the homeschooling and a bit of normality.
