INKSPIRATIONS INSPIRATION CHALLENGE #13

Honestly who has stolen this week from me!! hehe
I left my card for this challenge a little on the late side, but i really enjoyed Keesh's Inspirational Challenge this week.
I decided to use Riding Hood Red purely because I wanted to use that luscious wide ribbon, don't ya just love it!!
I used the stamp set "Eastern Blooms" inked with Craft Whisper White, embossed in white on Kraft card stock and coloured in some of the flowers to brighten it up a little.
I have totally gone wild with some faux stitching on this card, it is so much easier than lugging out my huge sewing machine and then trying to find the right colour cotton.

On another note thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers/emails regarding Sean's Nana.
We had a fantastic time away with the family, meeting new family members etc even under the circumstances.
It was so sad to see the effects of a bad stroke, but she is still fighting and we were able to have some great conversations and laughs.
Its just a waiting game now but feel much better that we got to spend some time with her.
Anyway check below for the other design team eye candy for this week, I still haven't had a chance to check out last weeks so I am off to do some blog stalking.
Have a good one,
Amy

Oohhh I LIKE. The effect on the kraft cardstock if fantastic - it looks just like DSP. The whole effect of the faux stitching is stunning.
