KWERNER CHALLENGE # 43

Hi everyone!! Gosh the colours for this weeks Kwerner challenge are so much fun!

I really had a lot of fun creating this card........paper tolling out all the stamped images with assorted coordinating cardstock and scraps of DSP paper.

This set SU All in the family is such an addictive stamp set, and so much fun to use.

MOJO MONDAY SKETCH # 75

Good evening!! Gosh it feels like ages since I have posted anything,

I have had a lovely week starting with my birthday on Monday and I am still celebrating it into the weekend LOL I don't know how many coffee dates I have had this week but it has been really nice..........................Anyway without further ado here it my Mojo Monday entry.

I decided to make a ( Hmm forgotten what it is called ) card using only one or two colours !!

I am embarrassed to admit that this little penguin has never been inked from the SU Wild about you, but tonight it was his turn hehe.

Hopefully tomorrow I will post some birthday cards and maybe a few more challenges.......

INKSPIRATIONS INSPIRATION CHALLENGE #4

Good evening!!! I have been chomping at the bit to do keesh's challenge and tonight I finally got to play!!! (YEAH)

When I saw this Inspiration photo the apples seem to stand out to me..............I know that the SU Tart and Tangy is retired but I love this stamp set, and I couldn't resist inking it up like a long lost friend.

The colours I used were Bashful Blue and Real Red, with coordinating DSP paper.

I really went to town with the paper tolling to really make those apples stand out.........and since I didn't have a lot of colouring to do with this stamp set, also I put a little Dazzling Diamonds on the pips.

KWERNER CHALLENGE # 41

Hi Guys!!!! Another Kwerner challenge and  I must say that I was really excited about these colours:) I ended up choosing the stamp set SU All in the family, and have made the card for my darling husband to give tomorrow ( valentines day).

I paper tolled out the clothes to give the image a bit more dimension using coordinating scraps of DSP paper. 

We don't have Riding Hood Red so I picked out Ruby Red instead, and I think that this colour combination is perfect for masculine cards.

Hope you enjoy your night, we are about to sit down and watch a movie....... lets hope that Sean hasn't picked some war/action type movie......

MOJO MONDAY SKETCH # 73

Good morning all!!  No Mojo for me today just couldn't,t get into the groove of stamping, I am not really happy with this card but thought i would up load it anyway. Go check out the other awesome entries by clicking here.

But on a more serious note I have been thinking and praying a lot for the people in Victoria who have lost so much!!! Having lived there for three years its close to my heart being more like a second home , If you get a chance and would like to brighten a persons day go over to my good friend Fiona's blog aka Fab creations who lives in Victoria and the fires are very close to the school that her children attend and have friends who have been affected by the fires!!! I am sure she would appreciate some lovely comments to brighten her day!!!

INKSPIRATIONS COLOUR CHALLENGE #4

Hi guys!!

Another fantastic Inkspiration colour challenge, I decided to use SU Embrace Life mainly because I thought that the colours would go nicely with this set. I took some close up photos so I didn't have to rant on like I normally do.........................(Ha,Ha) but if you do have any questions send me an e-mail.

I was going to take a photo of my face for a good laugh on WHAT NOT TO DO THIS SUMMER, I got badly sun burnt while I was out side painting my new vegetable garden fence  :(  I put sun cream on my kids  but I forgot about myself!!! OHHH I have so forgotten what it is like getting burnt and I am naturally paranoid about my skin being so white, no

 doubt I have harvested a thousand freckles !!!

FEBRUARY CHALLENGE!!

The lovely Trudi from NZSU has issued a challenge this month and it is to make a CAMI'S TRIFOLD CARD!! I have my nephews birthday today and since........

I left all my stamping stuff out last night from participating in the kwerner challenge, there is left over card stock and fishy stamps lying around LOL.

The small little fish from SU Fishy Friends fits perfectly on the 1 and 3/4 punch ( cant believe its taken me this long to use this set, it was my second SU set I brought )

Its a NZ holiday today which means i have my little monkeys home so I got out the play dough and said go for it!!!

So we all have had a lovely morning creating :)

Best get the boys out of their Pajamas before dad comes home.

KWERNER CHALLENGE # 40

Hi Yeah!!! Another Kwerner challenge!! I didn't have any of the children this morning so I took the opportunity to do some housework and that included cleaning out the children's fish tank ARGHH!!! 

Anyway one good thing about it was that it reminded me of my SU Fishy Friends stamp set that has never seen the light of day (ha ha) and I thought that no matter what the colours were for this challenge I was going to ink up this set :).

well the colours couldn't have worked any better............... I paper tolled out the fish fins and face adding Dazzling Diamonds...... also I couldn't help but add some Dazzling Diamonds to the polka dot DSP paper, I know I went a bit crazy with my distressing tool its kinda therapeutic after a long day!!! (ha,ha) I kinda of Choose the colours in relation to the inspirational photo (being more yellow ribbon etc..).

Anyway I am going to go and check out the other entries since its a holiday tomorrow I can stay up a little come and join me by clicking Here....

MOJO MONDAY SKETCH # 72

Back again!!! I hope everyone is having a lovely day!! I was planning on going for a walk but I have some men around putting down some new grass YEAH!!!

Noah is playing with some play dough that I made yesterday and I having been playing!!

I love this sketch I used the background stamp from SU So many sayings and the heart stamp is from SU Priceless,

DSP paper from the summer mini that coordinates beautifully with Taken with Teal, Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive.

INKSPIRATIONS SKETCH CHALLENGE #4

I know two posts in one night!!! I really have been wanting to do Makeesha's sketch challenge and tonight was the night to get some stamping done:)

And since I had left over paper from the previous card I kept the same colour scheme!!!

I wanted a lot of bling on this card so I embossed the heart and white card stock using my versamark stamp pad and a 1/4 mix Dazzling Diamonds and 1/2 Embossing powder then I heat set it with my heat gun!!!

Keeping with the bling theme I centred the bling brads inside the giant eyelets!!

Best get to bed so I can get my son to school on time :)

SWEET HEARTS!!!!

YUM YUM YUM!! I have been sitting consuming, well actually guttsing, myself on one of my favourite lollies. LOL

I found these cute little buckets and when I saw them I thought that they would look gorgeous filled up with these sweet heart lollies.

With the card I distressed and crumbled up the main stamped image and circle punched out the circles to add a bit of dimension adding Pretty in Pink card stock behind.

The stamp set used is SU A Happy Heart, and colours used are Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink and Rose Red using coordinating DSp paper and ribbons,brads!!

I am considering having a class on these projects since I brought a whole heap of buckets and lots of heart lollies so if you are keen send me an e-mail for more information!!
