TRY STAMPIN IT TUESDAY SKETCH #11

Well hello peeps!! I finally finished this card for "Try Stampin it Tuesday" I actually started it the other day and couldn't finish it....I got out my stash tonight while Darling husband watched an action DVD that couldn't quite grab my attention and finished it, doesn't it feel good when you complete something hehe.

I flipped the sketch around a little bit....I am into layering different DSP papers at the moment it kind of gives a vintage look.

Well I hope that everyone is enjoying their Easter break at the moment I certainly am.

Well I better get my butt into bed so I can kill this throat infection...

TRY STAMPIN IT TUESDAY SKETCH #10

Hello,

Well I am back again for the next sketch for Try Stampin It Tuesday.....I have been waiting for this stamp set to arrive "Grunge Rock" my son turned 9 in march and as soon as I saw this stamp set I knew that he would love it.

His favourite colour is green so I teamed up Pear Pizzaz with Soft suede with I think go really well together.

I also had a go using my new DSP paper Presto Patterns...... I sponged Pear Pizzaz all over the front and then used Soft Suede around the edges to give it an aged look, I really loved the way it turned out. As you can see I also flipped the sketch and I decided not to go with the oval shape for the centre.

TRY STAMPIN IT TUESDAY SKETCH #9

Good Afternoon......

Well I have had such a great day..... The weather is cold and raining (which I Love :) I have had the fire on hehe and I even managed to whip up this card in between homeschooling, cleaning drinking hot chocolates etc....hehe

I really enjoyed playing with this sketch today it reminded me of a patchwork quilt, and working with my new stamp set "Nature Walk" was a treat.

Well I am off to make tea and do some more tidying up,
