MOJO MONDAY SKETCH # 71

Ohh!!! I really know that I must be addicted to stamping! I went for a huge walk with Tracey tonight and man we took on those hills, and I am really tired and weary LOL I said to Tracey  NO stamping for me tonight I was actually going to catch up with some of my computer house cleaning but do you think I could get the Mojo sketch out of my head!!!

Anyway without further ado here is my card for this Mojo Monday!! At the start cutting out all the little hearts and layering them from the stamp set SU A little bit of Happiness was kind of therapeutic but in the end I was over it!!!LOL

I have used Old Olive, River Rock, and cream with coordinating DSP paper!! Yes I got into my favourite ribbons, Old olive on one side and River Rock underneath Loving that ribbon!!! LOL ( sorry the photos don't give that ribbon justice, It is a olive green not like the brown in the photo)

The only thing on the card that isn't Stampin UP are the tiny little half pearls (Kaiser) and the pin !!!

INKSPIRATIONS INSPIRATION CHALLENGE #3

Just a really quick post tonight!!! I am really enjoying being able to participate in these challenges!!!

In this particular sketch you can choose whatever colours or features you wanted out of it!!!Go check it out for yourself here.

When i saw the photo I knew that SU Petal Prints was the right flower image that i wanted to use,

and i chose Ruby Red, Shadow Sage, Blue Bayou for the colours.

The new catalogue is coming out soon and I figured I needed to get over myself and my hoarding ways and use up some of my good ribbon ( it comes in a packet) since there will be a whole lot of new colours LOL, the ribbon that i used tonight has both Blue Bayou and Shadow Sage in twined in it! 

In the middle of each flower i have used rub on's and glued some half pearls!! sorry i know they seem to be on every project i have done lately but i cant stray away from them and my distressing tool!

I still have to get my butt organised and do some computer house cleaning but i will leave that for another day!!

KWERNER CHALLENGE # 39

Hello to you all!! I was really excited about the colours this week......... mainly because i have heaps of boys birthday cards looming up everywhere, and to be able to combine the challenge with the birthday cards  would save a lot of time.

So with this in mind i went for the stamp set Ahoy Matey (SU) i paper tolled out his face, sword and top. 

I really enjoyed doing the faux stitching around the edges of the background i had my sewing machine out ready to do the job but couldn't find any red thread so i paper pierced the DSP paper and with my red pen connected the dots!! ( it actually takes half the time of sewing lol) 

This card is flying over to Australia for a little boy called Samuel who turned three today!!

MOJO MONDAY SKETCH # 70

Good evening,  Just a quick post tonight!! Sorry I went for a big walk with my parents and have sore feet and bad blisters and need to go to bed (LOL)

I have had this stamp set for awhile and haven't got around to using it, I thought that this sketch was perfect for it!!!

I used the DSP paper Le Jardin and based the colour scheme around the paper!

The stamp set is SU  Live your Dream, I paper tolled out the flowers and leaves adding some bling from the pretties kit and the bonjour stamp is SU Carte Postale,

A huge big thank you to a few lovely ladies who have nominated me for an award that i haven't manage to give credit too!! I am planning to get my e-mails, blog surfing and award posting done tomorrow so check back :)

INKSPIRATIONS COLOUR CHALLENGE #3

Hello everyone!! I had a lovely weekend and have really enjoyed getting back into doing some stamping!!!

Makeesha has designed this Colour Challenge and the colours are beautiful!!

I think I have mentioned before that I LOVE this stamp set, it is in the latest Stampin up Summer mini and its called A Happy Heart!!

I did a lot of distressing on both of the cards using a standing block and also Stampin Up's distressing tool,

the photo's were a little bit hard to take today i am not sure why? 

Anyway i have been a little bit naughty doing some stamping during the day so must get back to the kids if you have any questions about the two cards feel free to send me an email :)

A HAPPY HEART TODAY!!!

OMG!! Where has the time gone?

Just a quick post today I wanted to show you the card I made for the love of my life Sean!

Today is our Tenth wedding anniversary!!

The stamp set used is SU A happy Heart this is my favourite stamp set out of the Summer mini,

Everything used on this card are Stampin Up products but i added a little heart charm ( Spotlight) to accent the love heart!!! I paper tolled out the two other hearts so that it was three in a row!! I loved playing this game as a kid.

All I need now is a box of chocolates to go with the card!

KWERNER CHALLENGE # 38

Good evening!!! I must say I really enjoyed the challenge this week!! I had a look at the colours this morning and so I had the whole day to think about it!!! I just couldn't wait for the boys to go to sleep but did you think they would!!

Anyway I stamped the background to make my own DSP paper by using a little flower stamp out of SU Embrace Life set and a two step flower stamp from the SU Spring Solitude set, I got my sewing machine out and sewed around the border.............. I added a tiny bit of black on this card I thought might be okay since its in the inspirational photo.

The three flowers on the card is also from Embrace Life I just used one of the flowers ( the stamp has three different styles) and stamped them in coordinating colours, Paper tolling them out and sewing buttons in the given colours and finishing them with a tiny bow.

MOJO MONDAY SKETCH # 69

Wow!!!! Its that time again for another Mojo attempt.

I really enjoyed doing this sketch apart from the fact it took me 5 attempts to cut out the circle with my Coluzzle, I am so not good at using any type of craft knife!!! but i guess i should pat myself on the back since i didn't cave in and get Sean to do it for me!!! Think i might need to order myself some circle nestabilties (lOl)

The stamp set used is SU Embrace life i really do love this set, I paper tolled out different parts of the petals and added some fabric paint to the stamens and a half round pearl in the centre.

I have made a few cards using River Rock, White and black and i do love this colour combo especially the River Rock DSP paper in the summer mini.

MAKEESHA'S SKETCH

OK so I wasn't that happy with the other card I made for this challenge so I thought that I would attempt it again!!

Really love the colours Chocolate Chip and Groovy Guava together and don't you just love the DSP paper in the summer mini? Embrace Life is the stamp set that I have used for this card and I applied white fabric paint to the flower and a bit of bling from the pretties kit.

I stamped the flower on DSP paper and paper tolled out different petals just so it would stand out a little.

MAKEESHA'S SKETCH

Good evening everyone!! I really wanted to give Makeesha's sketch a go but sadly have lost my mojo i think i am all sketched out L0L.

I am not really sure if i like this card or not, As i walked past the boys bedroom Noah's little elephant caught my eye and i kind of used that as my inspiration.

The stamps used were Nursery Necessities and A Circle of Friendship and the lovely Paisley,

Ink pads Bashful Blue and Going Grey.

I paper toiled out the circle stamp and the elephants ear applying Dazzling Diamonds, I really wanted to put a scarf around the elephants trunk not sure if it works or not?

KWERNER CHALLENGE # 37

Just a quick post and I decided to do another card for this challenge, When i was first deciding which stamps to use it was a hard decision between the boat and frog so I thought that I would make a card using both!!!!

I used orange KindyGlitz for the mushroom and grass and glued on some googly eyes the rest is Stampin Up materials...............

Anyway must get to bed I am all stamped out (LOL)

KWERNER CHALLENGE # 37

Gee I really loved working with the colours this week!!!! I am so loving the challenge, some weeks are hard and then other weeks the card comes together quickly, which was the case tonight :) mind you I think I just felt like stamping tonight.

I used the stamp set SU Boatloads of love and stamped mainly on coordinating DSP paper to make the boat, paper tolling out different sections on the boat. ( we don't have Baja Breeze so I used Bashful Blue)

Also I added Hodgepodge aged cooper brads and eyelets (that I had stashed in my cupboard).

Don't you love the Giant wide Chocolate Chip Ribbon, I have just started using again the stripped ribbon that I attached to the card using some more HodgePodge, and last but not least I had to add some puff paint to make the smoke from the funnel ( don't you just love watching the stuff puff up when you heat it:)

MOJO MONDAY SKETCH # 68

Thought that i would try this sketch!!! Thanks Tracey for finding it :)

Its a lot of fun doing these sketches it definitely pushes oneself, I am not sure if i like this card, in my head I saw it quite differently(LOL) but I decided to wrap it up and call it done for now.

The colours I used were Whisper White, Pretty in pink, and craft, with coordinating ribbon etc 

The stamp set is SU A Happy Heart and I used some aged cooper brads I had lying around.

Anyway must get back to my Painting ( doing up my son's bedroom).

P.s By the way I hated the look of  the cooper brads so I have just changed them to buttons.

CUPCAKE FRIDAY SKETCH #49

                                                       

I have a list of birthday cards that I need to make and tonight was the night to start (LOL)

This card is going to be sent to my cute little niece called Miya, she turned three on Tuesday and I didn't manage to get her card finished to go with the present.

Also I thought that i would kill two birds with one stone and attempt the Cupcake Friday sketch which i must say was alot of fun.... You basically have to design a card around the given sketch!!!! ( see above photo)

I must admit I wasn't the first person to come up with the idea to circle punch out the animals......I had been admiring this idea on different blogs and when i saw this sketch I knew it would work a treat!!!

Wild About You is still my no#1 favourite stamp set :) I don't think I will ever get sick of stamping it. You might have to click on the photos to get a better look at the card, I put some ribbon behind the Giraffe to make it look like a mane that was the most time consuming part :)
