JUST A FEW QUICK CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!

I quickly made these Christmas cards using my scraps and off cuts that I have stored in a box. I was having trouble putting the lid on so decided to make a few extra cards tonight!!!! (LOL).
By the way just in case i don't get to post before Christmas, have a fantastic Holiday break and new year with your family and friends and also thank you for all your kind comments and following in the past two months.
p.s I also took a photo of my latest Christmas purchase and have it hanging on my kitchen window at the moment admiring it before i hang it on my front door (LOL)
MERRY CHRISTMAS

ON THE TWELFTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS I.....

On the twelfth day of Christmas I .................. didn't finish this box with twelve Christmas cards in it on time!!!!!! I had this idea that i would send a card out every day till Christmas but I have only just tonight finished this project and what, its more like four days till Christmas? (LOL) I saw this cute little box that I have totally cased (I don't normally like doing that) but i couldn't resist, click here even though it meant making my own template box and cards/ envelopes,
but i really like how it turned out apart from the fact its hard taking decent photos at night!!!!
This box holds fifteen christmas cards five each of blue, white and craft in between the dividers with the envelopes being stored at the back of the box.
Wouldn't this make a cool birthday present with a whole lot of pre-made cards inside?
Anyway i must be going to bed i promised myself an early night,

WHAT A DAY!!!!

I had a fantastic day on Sunday, I got together with two friends Tracey and Jan.
We had ourselves our own little stamping room and spent the whole day whipping up some christmas cards, it was a flippin hot day but we had a fan which made it a little better.
I really have enjoyed using Ruby Red i often go straight for Real Red when making Christmas cards.
In the new mini is some beautiful Ruby Red designer paper which i centered all my Christmas cards around,
These are a few of the Christmas cards I made.
If you want a better view click on the photo,

JUST SOME STUFF!!!

I had a really great time with the girls on tuesday night making the cute suitcase type box and 3 christmas cards ( scroll down to november classes to look at the project )
We did a lot of laughing and no one went home till 11.40 we finished the stamping around 9.40 and talked for the rest of the time :)
I made these cool packs up to keep all the pre-cut card, ribbon, instructions etc i got the idea from here but sort of changed it around to suit me (click on the photo for a better look) they looked really cool on the table and with the acetate box's right beside them.
I will be doing some more xmas themed classes in december so if you are keen send me an e-mail,

VERY MERRY!!!

Just a quick post to show you what i made as a gift. Its a very simple card that took no time at all to make, click on the photo to make the image bigger, the cards are just under 4x4 and i altered the measurements of the bottom box so that the cards fit in :) (scroll down archive posts to see the tutorial link on how to make this box)
Merry, Merry stamp set from Stampin up, is such a versatile stamp set i especially love the stamp that i used on the background of the cards.
You don't have to have lots of card stock or a thousand ink pads when you first start out stamping, by adding black or just white ( like i have done) to whatever color you have still looks effective.
Its a good idea to buy the stamps that you are attracted to and ribbon (LOL) and as you start using the stamps you can work out and add to the colours you like using.
You cant see that well in the photo but i added Dazzling Diamonds on the background and a brad in the middle of the snowflake.

TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR!!!!!

This is my first attempt at a star box, it was a little time consuming but worth it!!!
Its Saturday afternoon here and its pouring down with rain, Sean is playing with the kids playing educational games on the computer, but somehow they still want to play with mum's stamping stuff. Lachlan my 4 year old asked me what i was making, I responded with " just a star box"
"cool mum" he said "is that a box you can put twinkle little stars in?" I said "no its far to wet to go outside and collect stars, I think we will just stick with chocolate peanuts" (lol) kids are so funny aren't they!!!
I am trying my hardest to keep away from using green (lol) So i added the colours Chocolate chip and River Rock into the mix, DSP Brocade Background compliments those colours beautifully.
And of course i had to put some ribbon on it somewhere. (LOL)
This is a fantastic box to make for presents if you click HERE it will take you to some instructions on how to make the box, and to make the lid. I just made a second smaller version of the bottom and it fits perfectly on the top.
Ps If you click HERE it will take you to the link on how to make the Christmas Planner down below,
Enjoy.

ONLY 57 SLEEP'S TO XMAS!!!

This is a fantastic little folder that has two note pads with Shopping list and Notes so that you can keep a record of all the presents you need to buy and envelopes to keep all your receipts in.
Sage Shadow would have to be one of my favourite colours at the moment and in the DSP range Wintergreen and Springfling it has coordinating snowflake and circle paper cool aye.
If you want me to add the link with the tutorial on how to make this leave me a comment (lol)
Anyway must be off to bed,

'TIS THE SEASON'

YEAH!!!! Time to get out my xmas stamps, Thought that i would take a photo of my first xmas card.
I so love this stamp set SEASON OF JOY i knew as soon as i had laid my eyes on it that it would be a winner!!!
It so hard taking good photos at night time but the white bottom half of the card is all sparkly with glitter, by mixing half Dazzling Diamonds and half clear embossing powder together then heat setting it once you have versamarked the area you want it looks a real treat.
Mellow moss and white go really nice together and i am loving the Gingham moss ribbon, I really love how all of the Stampin' up colours all coordinate it so takes the hassle of trying to match everything.
In the photo the little flowers are paper tolled out they look a different colour but it is just my camera and in the middle of each flower i added a small halfback pearl ( from the pretties kit ) and i also added a little Rhinestone brad ( ICE, the green ) in the centre of the word Joy.
This stamp set is in the Spring mini catalogue if you would like a look send me a e-mail,
Have a great night.
