INKSPIRATIONS COLOUR CHALLENGE #14

Hi all!! Hope you all have had a fantastic week!
This week Keesh has a awesome Inspiration Challenge for us! I just love all the colours and decided to use this cute SU stamp set "Bug's and Kisses", this stamp set is sooo easy to use and I decided to pop up the images to give it that extra dimension.
I went for the colours Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Basic Grey, Black and Craft coordinating with different DSP.
I got into my craft hemp twine which I always forget to use but is quite a nice change.
Well I am off to put my feet up and watch some T.V hehe.

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 12

Hello!
It's time again for another ME & MI project.
When I saw this darling tea gift folder I just knew I had to make one.
I have totally cased this design, when you find a good thing ya need to just go with it.
I did change the DSP and stamp set though, and maybe the inside of the folder because I was so excited and didn't pay enough attention to the instructions ( the story of my life).hehe
It was such a fun project to make and didn't take that long at all.
I actually forgot to make the envelope, I have it sitting at home ready to make which I will finish, as it compliments the folder beautifully.
Today is soooo cold and windy, and I am typing this little post at my in laws, nice and early don't get to shocked.
To make this cute project click here, you won't be disappointed, Nicole is such an amazing designer lots of eye candy on her blog! Enjoy.
Thanks for looking and stopping by to say hi.

SWEET SUNDAY SKETCH#38

The beautiful Birthday boy taken at his little party yesterday.

Well my baby Noah is having his 4th Birthday on Tuesday and I thought that I would use karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch as my Inspiration.
Yesterday Noah was given this adorable frog early as one of his birthday gifts from his Auntie. I was in awe of the different colours, that I definitely would not of thought of putting together. I am so going to use this combo again.
I thought Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze and Green Galore were a good match' and it wasn't hard deciding which stamp set to use,  "Wild About You."
I had a lot of fun doing this sketch if you click here it will take you to Karen's amazing blog and fabulous design team.
Have a great week,
Amy

INKSPIRATIONS INSPIRATION CHALLENGE #13

Honestly who has stolen this week from me!! hehe
I left my card for this challenge a little on the late side, but i really enjoyed Keesh's Inspirational Challenge this week.
I decided to use Riding Hood Red purely because I wanted to use that luscious wide ribbon, don't ya just love it!!
I used the stamp set "Eastern Blooms" inked with Craft Whisper White, embossed in white on Kraft card stock and coloured in some of the flowers to brighten it up a little.
I have totally gone wild with some faux stitching on this card, it is so much easier than lugging out my huge sewing machine and then trying to find the right colour cotton.

On another note thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers/emails regarding Sean's Nana.
We had a fantastic time away with the family, meeting new family members etc even under the circumstances.
It was so sad to see the effects of a bad stroke, but she is still fighting and we were able to have some great conversations and laughs.
Its just a waiting game now but feel much better that we got to spend some time with her.
Anyway check below for the other design team eye candy for this week, I still haven't had a chance to check out last weeks so I am off to do some blog stalking.
Have a good one,
Amy

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 11

I am loving these scheduled posts! Hopefully they are working!!
Well I thought that I would surprise you and have a project ready for Monday and not Someday! hehe
When I saw this little tote bag I just knew I had to make one! It was surprisingly simple and didn't take too long at all.
I used my favourite DSP"Parisian Breeze" and took it from there.
I really enjoyed having a go at doing some crisscross faux stitching, I think I could be addicted to that little technique now.
Anyway if you click here it will take you to the Tutorial.....
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and I should be back soon to stalk your blogs,
Take care,
Amy

INKSPIRATIONS COLOUR CHALLENGE #13

Well hello again!!
By the time you have finished reading this post I should have arrived in Thames, which is in the Coromandel, and hopefully Sean and I are still talking to each other!! hehe
Okay maybe I get a little car sick and border line paranoia, as I don't like heights and winding roads and well traveling full stop! And my three little punks who sit at the back keep reminding me how high Mount Messenger is, and I start ranting words like  SLOW DOWN and OHH MY GOD and well....... the fighting begins, hehe all the way till arrival.
Which by the way is about 5 hours!
Anyway onto the exciting stuff! Keesh has whipped up a awesome colour combo for us this week!
I honestly think I must work better under pressure because this little bundle came together in no time, and I have had literally NO TIME!!
I love my new stamp set "Winter Post" I wasn't completely sold on the two ice skaters in this set ( I so love the reindeer and snowflake) but inked it up anyway.
To achieve the faded snowflake background on my main stamped image, I stamped the snow flake in Versamark and applied chocolate chip chalk very softly to it.
To make the double pocket bag click here.........

Take care

INKSPIRATIONS SKETCH CHALLENGE #13

Its almost the end of a very busy week!! Whoop Whoop bring on the weekend.
I decided that it was about time to start making my Christmas cards! I love Christmas and always run out of cards, so this year I am starting early. hehe
I really enjoyed Keesha's sketch challenge this week It wasn't hard to get into the groove.
Because of the shape of the card I used my favourite xmas stamp set I own "Holiday Lineup", using my new water colour crayons which by the way if you don't own  are a must.
I added Dazzling Diamonds to the antenna's and red nose, just to make it sparkle. hehe
You must go check out the other talented designers their work is so Inspirational click below....
Thanks for looking and all your comment love,
Amy

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 9

The front of the Mini Pizza box. I adhered some ribbon onto the box , so one has to untie behind the back of box to get into it!

Here are the cards.

Hello, I thought that I would take the time and publish this post early.........just in case something crops up tonight and I don't get round to posting! hehe
This was such a cute little bundle to make, and I reckon you can't go wrong with gorgeous DSP paper to play with!
This little beauty is called "Bella Bleu" which coordinates with the colours Kraft, Very Vanilla and Not quite Navy.....Yummy.
I have used the stamp set "For a Friend".
To make this cute little mini pizza box......
It is simply a 6"x11" piece of cardstock scored at 1" on either side of the 6" and 1, 5, 6 & 10" on the 11" side, and snipped on the edges. Super easy.
The note cards measure 3 1/2" x 7 1/2".
Have a fantastic night!!

Sorry, I have my lovely sister in law from Australia visiting this week and I have been stretched for time.
I might have to start calling it ME & MI Some days hehe.
Also I was asked to present a WOW presentation over the weekend at out regional training!
OMG I was soooo nervous but once I got into it I had a ball :) I taught a technique called "Cracked Glass" I thought you might like to see the cards.
It was so nice to catch up with friends and to meet some new ones.
See you tomorrow,
Amy

OMG, I cant believe its Friday already and I'm running late lol.  But all is good I've done the challenge in record time and we are ready to roll.
When I first saw this Inspirational photo I thought Sailor theme.......and so I inked up the cutest little boat in the SU "Nursery Necessities" Stamp set.
I have used the colours Pacific Point and Summer Sun with coordinating DSP paper!
I stamped the background with the little star from the stamp set, and backed a clear button with card stock.
So handy those clear buttons when you don't have the right colour on hand.
Make sure you go and check out Keesh's blog here... and have a peak at the other design team members, you wont be disappointed,
Thanks for looking,
Amy

ME & MI MONDAY'S PROJECT 8

So so very sorry! I don't know but the week's are just flying, and I have been running behind on a few things and well my  Me&Mi Monday project this week was put on the back burner!
But anyway I thought that I would post half of it tonight, I need to put the finishing touches on the 8 cards that I have made to go inside this cute tote purse, which fingers cross will be finished tomorrow.
I have used the "Sweet Slumber Specialty" DSP coordinating the colours with Baja Breeze and Sahara Sand.
I have totally cased this gorgeous design because I think it was perfect just the way it was and you don't change a good thing when you find it!!
To make your own tote purse click here and it will take you to a fabulous tutorial on how to make it.
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and I will be back soon I hope!
BTW if you get a chance you must go see the movie The young Queen Victoria!!! OMG I loved it and sooooo fell in love with Albert hehehe
I said to my husband that if I had another baby boy I would love to call him Albert! wouldn't it be a cute nickname Alby,
Anyway I will stop babbling and go pick up my mess!
Have a good one,
Amy
